Our Promise

We are well aware that every homeowner should select the best roofing material for their needs to ensure a stylish yet sturdy support structure for their home. We believe that roofing systems can both have value and design at the same time. Imperial Contracting and Consulting provides homes with the ideal solution for their needs in the area.

Once you’ve decided to get a new roof, there are quite a few options to choose from. You will need to inform your roofing company as to what type of material you want, how much you’re willing to spend and how do you want it to last. Aside from that, you will need the material to match the style of your home.

With these things in mind, here is a breakdown of the types of roofing materials we offer:

Wood Shingles – These are typically made from cedar and is the style of roofing material that matches that of a cottage, contemporary bungalow, historic home or a ranch. The product will eventually change from this natural wood cedar color to gray. They are usually labor intensive to install and offer some insulation indoors.

Traditional Metal – Roof systems made out of metal usually have longer warranties, are light weight, easy to install and are natural fire retardants. They are also resistant to rot and insects. The metal material reflects the radiant heat from the sun which helps to reduce heat buildup if you have an attic.

Slate – Slate roofs have different sizes, thicknesses, and colors. You will be able to create different looks to enhance almost any style you have in mind. The product is quite heavy, and if you plan to have this installed, your roof deck needs to be properly engineered first.

Concrete Tile – Roofs made of concrete tiles can work with almost any style of home. It comes in different designs and colors, is quite low maintenance and durable. This roofing material can be quite expensive, but the cost is offset by its extended lifespan and durability. But just like slate, the concrete material is heavy for roofing, and the roof deck must be engineered well.

Engineered/Composite – This type of roofing material is made from reclaimed materials and offers a range of styles and colors to choose from. It is usually sold to simulate a shake or slate roof. Estimated to last between 30 to 50 years, they can be quite cost effective compared to the other materials in the market. They are better than shingles but are more affordable than slate or concrete tiles.

Metal Panels – Sturdy metal can be shaped into panels to give a roof the appearance of wood shakes or tile. This gives the roofing system longevity and strength natural from metal while also giving off a unique appearance to your home.

All of these roofing materials will have some considerations to ponder upon before you decide on one of them. Whichever you choose, a new roof installed with the guidance of an expert roofing provider will improve not only the look of your home but also the feel of your house.
